Revoltech Hokuto no Ken #014- Raoh Kokuoh

The conqueror of the century is known to be a solitary man but like the saying, no man is an island. He found a companion in his ever loyal steed, Kokuoh.

This figure came with a number of accessories.

This figure of Raoh came with a different colour scheme compared to the previous release. I have no idea how many times I have said this but the helmet is ill-fitted.

I prefer this figure without the helmet.

One of the most exciting accessories which came with this figure. The robe is not made of fabric but ABS/plastic.

Front view of Raoh with the robe. It looks good... except for that silly helmet.

The way the robe was made really capture the fold of a real fabric.

Once again, the head sculpt is really well done.

Tengen Toppa!!! Opppsss... I am aiming for the heavens!

The real star for this release is Kokuoh, Raoh's gigantic steed. This figure is huge and its very articulated. One of the best value-for-money purchase in this line.

Everything was sculpted in detail. Even the ears were fitted with joints!

The decorations are nicely done and befitting the Black King.

Raoh with Kokuoh. These are impressive figures on their own.

I do not have to get off Kokuoh. Come! I will take you on!

In the manga/anime, Kokuoh is known to trample on whoever he sees fit.

Like this grunt here...

This is a great release which is definitely value for money. Grab this if you are a Hokuto fans and you will definitely not regret it.

Revoltech Hokuto no Ken #013- Raoh Final Battle

Raoh, the eldest and most likely the strongest of the Hokuto brothers is also known as Kenoh, the conqueror of the end of the century. Nanto Seiken, which was one of his biggest obstacle in his world domination is gone with the death of the Holy Emperor, Thouther. It is time to face his final calling to prove once and for all that he is the rightful successor to Hokuto Shinken.

This does not come with a lot of accessories and yet we have to pay more or less the same price tag with the other release.

Front view of the figure. Those joints are just too obvious on a naked body.

Back view of the figure. The muscle tones were well painted.

It comes with a helmet which in my opinion a waste of space.

Time to flex these muscles!

Raoh used a fighting style which emphasize brute strength.

Articulation is great as usual.

Need to really work on my posing. :P

Tenshō Honretsu!

I have no regrets in my life! Those joints are really an eye sore.

Kaiyodo should really rethink about developing a special kind of joints which they can use for figure such as this one. All those gaps and ugly joints are really a turn off for this iconic figure.

Revoltech Hokuto no Ken #012- Thouther

Thouther also known as Souther is the Holy Emperor of the South Dipper stars whom rule with an iron fist.

Out-of-box content for Thouther. It comes with 4 different pairs of hand, mask, spear, storage box, stand an a coin.

Front view of Thouther. His head sculp is exceptionally well done. That cocky smirk which is one of his iconic expression looks really expressive.

Back view of Thouther. The muscle tones are great. Even his entire attire has been sculpt with a degree of craftmanship.

This figure comes with the empyrial mask. It looks good with the mask but i still prefer the smirk.

And it comes with the spear which Thouther used to kill Shu with. This is the end!
Now time for some action.
He is the master of the "South Star Phoenix Fist" style which emphasize on offensive. Due to an unexplained nature, the user of this style is ethereal much like the mythical phoenix when executing this style. On top of that, Thouther has the "Emperor's Armor" (dextrocardia situs inversus totalis) which grants him immunity over Hokuto Shin Ken.

Thouther is truly worthy of the Holy Emperor title because he was such a big threat that even Raoh feared him. He was even able to defeat and capture Kenshiro which is not an easy feat.

In regards to this figure. The sculptor did a great job with the facial expression. One glance and you will be able to recognize him as the Thouther that we all know.
