Super Robot Chogokin - Gaogaigar

GaoGaiGar also known as the "King of Braves" was built to combat the extraterrestrial threat known as Zonder. It is the combination of four components which are GaiGar, DrillGao, LinerGao and StealthGao. In order for the combination to take place, the act of Final Fusion must be approved by the Chief of GGG (Koutarou Taiga), followed by the relevant operator (Mikoto Utsugi, or Swan White in her absence) breaking through the safety glass on her panel and hitting the button that engages "Program Drive."

Gaogaigar with Choryujin.
This is my first Super Robot Chogokin figure. Overall I am pretty impressed by the detail and quality of the figure. Initially I was a bit skeptical of venturing into the SRC line but Bandai did not disappoint me and I will be looking forward to getting the other mechas from this series.

Revoltech #114 Alucard

Alucard is vampire under the service of the Hellsing Organization which works against vampires and other such supernatural forces. Alucard is no mere vampire; it has been implied that he is the most powerful vampire, as well as the most powerful entity in the entire series. He is devoted to his master Integra and was close friends with the Hellsing butler, Walter C. Dornez. He also has also feelings of admiration towards his fledgling, Seras Victoria.

This is a good example how little gimmicks like these can improve the presentation of the figure.

Now let us have some fun!

This figure comes with 2 guns. Alucard is holding on "Jackal" in this picture.

I love the grin on this extra head. Really bring out the character of Alucard.

The overcoat was designed to be flexible to enable poses like this.

The monster who looks like a man versus the man who looks like a monster. Who will win?
All in all this is a very good representation of Alucard from the Hellsing anime/manga. Articulation is good and there are no issues with the paint application. My only complaint is that the overcoat is not in red as it was suppose to be in the anime. That aside, this is a great figure for anyone who is a fan of the series. Go grab this bloodsucker before he put a bullet through your forehead.
