Revoltech Hokuto no Ken #011- Kenshiro Final Battle

It is a fact that Hokuto no Ken is synonymous to violence and gore but do you know that it is also synonymous to manlyhood? Before you give me that weird look, do let me explain. Our protagonist Kenshiro has this very bad habit of ripping his jacket every single time someone pissed him off showing his ripped biceps. You will most likely see one of this scene in the anime in every other episode. Well I bet you cant find anything more manly than a half naked man with an exposed biceps. =P

Out-of-box content. This comes with the lest amount of accessories. Talk about being cheap.

Front view of Kenshiro. Notice the battle wound/cut on the chest and face.

Back view of the figure. There arent anything much to see here beside a naked back.

This figure comes with an extra head depicting Kenshiro yelling. Initially, the yelling head looks hideous but I actually warm myself up with it after a while.

Now time for a little action!

Come and get some.

Raoh! Let us settle this feud!

Once again, the revol joints make it possible to do a number extreme poses such as this high kick.

You are already dead!

I didnt really give it a lot of thoughts when I bought this figure. The detail seems great but it actually hits me when I start to work on this article. Why is there only cuts? This figure depicts the final battle between Kenshiro and Raoh, not some Nanto guys. Where are all those blood and bruises which are suppose to be there? Anyway, this is another figure that you should not miss if you are to call yourself a die hard Hokuto fans like me.

Revoltech Hokuto no Ken #010- Shew

I realize that I need to write more to make up for being lazy last month. So without further delay, Revoltech Shew from Hokuto no Ken.

Shew is the successor of the "South Star White Heron Fist" style, which specializes in the usage of kicks. He represents the Star of Benevolence as well as a friend of Rei. Shew was once Souther's second-in-command until he met a young Kenshiro. He challenged and defeated Ken, but forfeit his eyesight in exchange so that Kenshiro's life would be spared. After the Nuclear War, Shu leads a resistance movement against Souther and his empire and is reunited with the now adult Kenshiro. Shu eventually surrenders himself to Souther in order to save his villagers and is forced to carry the apex that will complete Souther's Holy Cross Mausoleum. Before being crushed to death, Shu miraculously recovers his eyesight and is able to see Kenshiro for the last time.

Out-of-box content of Shew. Sadly, it comes with only a few accessories.

Well I guess the great workmanship on the figure makes up for the lack of accessories.

Known as the "Blind Warrior". Shew sacrifice his sight to save the young Kenshiro.

The back view of the figure. Some area such as the loin cloth is exactly the same with the one on Toki. Same on you Kaiyodo!

And now some action pose!

Shew used this chain-mace to test Kenshiro. Unsurprisingly, it proves inadequate to the successor of Hokuto Shin Ken.

We will have to settle this using our fist.

Or in my case, using my legs!

Shew is another one of my favourite character but unfortunately, he has to be killed off in order for the story to progress. And as for this figure, the workmanship is top notch but Kaiyodo should really address the issue of the lack of accessories.

Revoltech Hokuto no Ken #08- Uighur

Cassandra, also known as the City of Wailing Demons, was a prison city for martial artists who were forced to forfeit their martial art secrets to Raoh. Raoh needs someone who can instill fear in the prisoners and no one can do this better than Uighur.

Out-of-the-box content. Uighur gets quite a number of accessories.

Front view of Uighur without the cape. Uighur was a giant among human. In the anime/manga, he was depicted as around 10 feet tall.

Close up on the face. The sculptor did a great job with the face. Looks really menacing and badass. =P

Uighur with the cape on. The cape consist of 3 different parts much like those on Raoh.

Uighur is the master of a whip-based Taishan fighting style. He can literally tear anyone to pieces using this technique.

His prowess with the whips is so great that Uighur can wield multiple whips. This was demonstrated when he used the "Thousand Streak Whip" on Kenshiro.

When the "Thousand Streak Whip" technique connects with an opponent, Uighur will perform his finishing move, in the form of a powerful shoulder tackle the "Tao of the Mongolian Champion".

Uighur is an iconic antagonist from Fist of the North Star. I am glad that Kaiyodo actually took the trouble of producing a figure of this character. My only complain about this product is the scale or the size of figure. It is not anime/manga accurate.
