Revoltech #133 Hunter Swordsman Jinouga

Jinouga is the flagship monster for Monster Hunter Portable 3rd and with it's addition comes equipment created with it's carve.

Out-of-box content. Not much but I am impressed that Revoltech includes 2 sets of weapon.

Close up on the figure. Once again, I am impressed with the detail.

Dual Sword Oppressor's Miracle and Long Sword Oppressor's Law.

The long sword comes in 2 form. A sheath and unsheathe version.

The unsheathe long sword can be attached to the back of the figure.

Somehow i feel that this long sword is a bit too blunt. Where are those whetstone when you need em?

I am a big fan of dual sword. Nothing beats slicing up monster using one of these.

There are an amazing amount of detail on the swords.

This is a great figure from Kaiyodo. I cannot emphasized enough the amount of detail on figures from the Monster Hunter line. Looking at this figure brings back fond memories of days gone by where I go hunting with my buddies. I am still holding to the hope that Capcom will one day come to it's senses to release a Monster Hunter game on the PS Vita.

Transformers Jetwing Optimus Prime + UFO Articulated Hands

Optimus Prime returned in the third installment of the movie with a jetpack and hence, the perfect opportunity for Takara Tomy/Hasbro to milk the franchise.

Optimus in vehicle mode. It is a close replica to the prime mover it was based on.

Optimus in robot mode. This is one of the best mold for the movie Optimus Prime. The hands were replaced with the UFO articulated hands which is a must-have option part. 

The fuel tank can be transformed into a cannon.

I bought a pair of energy sword. It fits into the articulated hands well.

 

The not-so movie accurate jetwing pack. It is basically a set of gattling guns attached to a flight unit.

The prime mover with the jetpack attached to it. Looks pretty good.

Optimus with the jetwing pack. It is something to behold.

This extra firepower might be enough to bring down the Decepticon!

This is my first Transformers movie figure and I have to say that I am impressed. The detail, articulation and transformation mechanic were great for a Transformers toy. My only gripe was the finishing or should I say the lack of finishing on most of the parts. The parts in this figure were molded in their respective colour so the figure still looks like a toy at best. I wonder if it is the same with the other releases which came with a glossy finishing. Guess I got to get one to make a comparison.
