Got to get back to updating my blog after going on hiatus for awhile.
Shin was first introduced as Kenshiro's main rival in the series. He was a Nanto Shinken user (reintroduce later as Nanto Koshūken or South Star Lone Eagle Fist). He has an affection towards Yuria but his feelings went unanswered because Yuria is destined to be with Kenshiro. After his mind was corrupted by Jagi, Shin challenged Kenshiro and defeated him. He engraved the iconic seven scars on Kenshiro's chest before taking off with Yuria by force. With an army of thugs in his disposal, he builds the city of Southern Cross and declare himself the king and Yuria the queen of the new kingdom. Later he realize that no matter what he did, he was not able to win over Yuria's love. Sometime after, he is challenged by Kenshiro and after an epic battle, he was defeated. Refusing to die from Kenshiro's Hokuto Shinken, he takes his own life by jumping off the roof of his own palace.
Out-of-the-box. This figure comes with 3 extra pair of hands, 1 errr... damaged head, 1 sickle, 1 axe and a stand.
Front view of the figure. The body structure seems a bit off. Shin should be slim and tall, more like a martial artist instead of muscular and stout like a boxer.
Close up on the front view. The sculptor did another great job with the face.
Rear view of the figure. The contour on the hair and clothing looks good.
Close up on the rear view.
Let us get on with some action! First off, Nanto Shinken fighting stance!
I am not a magician but you better pay attention to my fingers! I can slice you with it!
Flying kick Nanto style!
Remember that severed head I mentioned earlier? It is actually for Member of Zeed. You can replace the original head with the severed head.
Another angle of the head stabbing action. If this gets any more bloodier, I will need to rate my blog. :P
Shin with the extra accessories, the sickle and the axe. I wonder why they even bother to include this into the package...
Shin is a great figure despite the not so accurate body build. In my opinion, the sicle and axe does nothing much. I would prefer if Kaiyodo gave us something like a white cloak or perhaps another extra grunt we can use as cannon fodder. Another must-have figure for Hokuto no Ken fans out there!
Later guys!

Wah! Your FOTNS family is getting bigger, man.
The damaged head really looks bloody violence, luckily this series is not for kids to play. I found that now Revoltech has change its target to mature collectors. Now they also make Queens Blade into the production line, judge by the picture, those sexy girls warrior's armor can cast off too......
Yeah! I cant wait to complete my FOTNS collection! Huh? Queens Blade figure??? They better do something with all those joints or I dont think the figures are going to be that attractive even though you can cast off their armour. :P
You can say that again. :P
