Super Robot Chogokin - Choryujin

Choryujin is the Symmetrical-Docked form of HyoRyu and EnRyu from the King of Braves Gaogaigar series. It's name roughly translate to Super Dragon God in English. Choryujin is a defense specialist which is reflected by it's equipment/tool.

Out-of-box content. This figure comes with a lot of accessories.

Eraser Head tool which can be used to disperse energy out of the atmosphere.

This is another great release from the Super Robot Chogokin line. It comes with a lot of accessories, the paintjob was great. Same goes to the articulation too. There are news that Bandai is going to release Gekiryujin in the near future as a limited item. I am eager to grab that so that I can do a cross symmetrical docking with the 2 figures.

D-Arts X (Full Armour)

In order to prepare X for the challenges ahead, Dr. Light have prepared armour upgrades and sealed it off in different location in the form of capsules. X will be able to access these capsules to unlock the armour within and hence improve his capabilities as a fighting robot.

A good presentation of a fully armoured X.

Two Xs standing side by side as a comparison. Somehow I still prefer the original "Blue Bomber" design.

One very important selling point for this line of figure is that most of the parts are interchangeable.

X acquired his first armour in the form of a leg upgrade which enable him to dash.

Second upgrade comes in the form of a helmet which enable X to smash block with his head.

Third upgrade comes in the form of a chest armour which enable X to take in more damage.

Close up with the chest upgrade. I do not fancy the white colour which comes with the upgrade.

Last upgrade comes in the form of a blaster which enable X to dish out more damage.

Maverick! Beware!

There was a secret upgrade in the game which is in the form of Hadouken. X can destroy most enemy with 1 hit from this move.

Bandai did a great job with the figure from this line. The quality in terms of paint application is acceptable and the articulation is great. My only complaint is that there are nub marks in between some pieces of the figure. All-in-all, it is a great figure of X from the Mega Man X series.
