Revoltech Hokuto no Ken #018- Nameless Asura

The Nameless Asura represented the warrior caste in the Land of Shura. To earn himself a name, he has to constantly engaged himself in battle to prove his prowess as a warrior. At the age of 15, it was said he singlehandedly killed 100 of Akashachi's men, during the pirates' botched raid on the island. He found his match in Falco when the latter ventured into Shura to rescue Lin. He subsequently defeated the wounded Falco but was killed during his rematch with the revitalized Falco.

Out-of-the-box content. It comes with tons of accessories compare to the other releases.

Front view of Nameless Asura or also known as Sunagumo (name given by Falco).

I actually look forward to getting this figure although he is a minor character.

Back view of the figure. The armor and the tone on the attire were nicely sculpted.

Side view of the figure. Another unique feature on this figure is the piggy tail.

His combat poles as shown on the anime/manga.

Very much like Thouther, this figure comes with a mask. He emits a mysterious and yet threatening aura.

This also comes with a pair of blades. Weapon accessories like this usually does not account much to the Hokuto figures but it adds up to Nameless Asura who is a weapon user.

Flying kick!

Another interesting accessories which came with this figure is the extra head. As far as i know, this is an unnamed grunt. Put this head on the figure and you have another impressive looking figure. It is also compatible with the member of Zeed figure.

I will usually recommend collectors to skip side character such as this Nameless Asura but the extra accessories along with the great articulation makes this release a must have.

Revoltech Hokuto no Ken #017- Kenshiro Land of Ashura

Years had past and the struggle of warriors who brought peace to this war-torn world has faded from the memories of the people and the world was once again engulfed in chaos. The army of the Gento Ko Ken was routing anyone who is related to either the Hokuto and Nanto by the order of the Holy Emperor. A grown-up Bat and Lin, rallied an army of Hokuto and Nanto warriors to fight the opposing army but their efforts proved useless under the might of the Gento. When all seems hopeless, Kenshiro appeared once again to safe the day.

Out-of-box content of this figure. This figure comes with a generous amount of accessories in the form of extra pairs of hand and arms.

Close view of the figure. Kenshiro was given a new look at the beginning of the new arc. The jacket is a lot more decorated and he wears a goggle.

Back view of the figure. The jacket comes with a lot of straps and it is asymmetrical.

This figure comes with a mace which Kenshiro definitely does not need.

This release also comes with an extra head of Kenshiro without the goggle. This is the exact same head of Kenshiro from the previous release.

I love the goggle a lot. It gives Kenshiro a fresh look.

Enough with the introduction. It is time for some action!

There are limited improvement in terms of articulation namely the groin.

The high-kick pose is the best testimony for the articulation provided by Revoltech.

This aint your Kame hame ha!

Grab this! You will not regret it. Enough said. :P

Revoltech Hokuto no Ken #016- Juza

Juza is a member of the Nanto Gosha Sei (Five Chariot Stars of the South Dipper) and represents the wandering spirit of the Clouds. He uses a self-styled martial art (Garyƫ no Ken), which is uniquely different from the style.

This is the out-of-box content. It comes with very few accessories which is not surprising.

The front view of the figure.

A close look on the face. The face sculpt is quite accurate. This is definitely the Juza that I know.

Back view of the figure. He is in his battle gear.

Juza live his life as a very carefree guy but he was not always like that.

In the past, he wanted to take Yuria as his wife but he was denied to do so because they were half siblings.

After the incident, Juza abandoned his post as a Gosha Sei and descended into promiscuity.

The Goshasei believed Juza was the only one capable of stopping Raoh, but Juza, being a free-spirited man, did not wish to fight for the sake of the Last General of the Nanto Roku Seiken.

Along with this figure is an useless accessories in the form of a giant axe. Makes you wonder why in the nine hell did Kaiyodo bundle this along with the figure.

On the other hand. This figures comes with drumstick, a bottle of alcohol and something that looks like a meat loaf which is most appropriate to compliment the figure.

Juza is an unique character in the Hokuto universe but Kaiyodo did not do it justice with the release of the figure. The sculpt was great but the number of accessories were really a turnoff. Grab this figure if you are a Juza fan or else skip this for the other character.

Revoltech Hokuto no Ken #015- Falco

Falco is the Golden General, the strongest successor of Gento Ko Ken. Jakoh has order the extermination of anyone who is related to the Hokuto and Nanto in the name of the Celestial Empreror. And with that, Falco soon face off with Kenshiro, the successor of Hokuto no Ken.

This release comes with extra pairs of hand, a stand, an accessory box, a coin and an extra hand.

Front view. This figure depicted Falco in his fighting outfit.
Great facial detail. This is Falco alright.

Another close up on the front.

Back view of Falco.
The only complain I have with this figure are the shoulder guards. The joints are so awkward.

Time for some workout.

Falco offered his right leg to Raoh in order to protect his village.

Round house kick.

He uses his prosthetic leg as a center of gravity.

The prosthetic right leg.

Falco is the practitioner of the Gento Ko Ken (Imperial Fist of the Original Dipper). This style focus ki as a blade which is able to destroy enemy on a cellular level.

The best gimmick on this figure is the extra hand. This hand is installed with a LED and a transparent extended palm.

The figure with the LED on. Awesome!!!

Falco is an iconic character from the series but he has to be killed to prove that the Shura are not to be taken lightly. The gimmick was innovative. Hoping to see something similar in the future.
