Revoltech #096 ZOIDS Geno Breaker

The Geno Breaker is a Tyrannosaurus-type Zoid, one of over 200 species of fictional biomechanical lifeforms depicted by TOMY's Zoids model, toy, and media franchise. Based on the Geno Saurer, the Geno Breaker was first released in 2002, and the Zoid plays a significant role in both the Battle Story and the Zoids: Guardian Force anime. (Zoids wiki)

Side view of the figure. This is one of the biggest Revoltech figure in my collection.

Geno Breaker is equipped with a thruster pack which enable limited flight.

It is also equipped with a large pair of multi-purpose claws mounted on extendable arms known as X-Breakers.

Those claws are very menacing. It can also be used as a shield.

The Revoltech joints provide flexibility in terms of articulation.

Who wants some of these?

The claws make Geno Breaker looks like a dino-crustacean hybrid.

Who will come out as the victor?

I bought this figure to accompany my Blade Liger and this figure is as impressive. I cannot find any flaw in terms of paint job. The sculpt and articulation were good. The only issue I have with this figure is the loose joints. Revoltech joints are suppose to be rigid and strong but it has some difficulty handling the weight of the figure. It is not that prominent on the Blade Liger but it is a very pronounced issue since it is very difficult to put this figure on a standing position for an extended amount of time. Grab this if you are a fan of the Zoids series or else you might just want to skip it altogether.

Super Robot Chogokin - Key to Victory Set 1

The "Hell and Heaven" was a technique which combined both the offensive and defensive power of Gaogaigar into a destructive technique. Despite being the most effective technique against the Zonder, the constant usage of this technique has caused extreme physical strain on Guy which almost killed him. To act as a substitute for the dangerous technique, the "Key of Victory", Goldion Hammer was constructed.

This is an add-on pack to SRC Gaogaigar. The main component being the Goldion Hammer and Marg Hand.

The "Key to Victory" set is an attempt by Bandai to reduce the production cost for the SRC figure in this series. Instead of including this along with the main figure and increased the price in the process, Bandai decided to release this as a separate product. To be frank, this is a very nice add-on but I am not sure that I should really encourage this kind of business practices. This mean that I am going to be more picky in terms of buying only figures which I like instead of buying all the figures out in the market.

Anyway, if you are a Gaogaigar fan, do pick this up!
