Max Factory Bio Fighter Collection #12 Imakuram

Masaki's dummy Zoacrystal was cracked by Guyot during their confrontation in the Relic Point. This prove fatal for Masaki for the Zoacrystal was his life source as a Proto-Zoalord. In an unexpected turn of event, he was retrieved by Archanfel, the Supreme Leader of the Zoalord. Little do we know that Archanfel has plan for Masaki.

The traitorous Guyot was disposed off and this had left the counsel of Zoalords defunct. Archanfel foresee that this inconvenience will surely put his grand plan to a halt and sought to find a solution to the problem. With Guyot's Zoacrystal and a dying Proto-Zoalord, Archanfel did what seems to be the most logical thing to do. Bringing Masaki with him to an unknown location, Archanfel, Dr. Barcus and an unknown number of other scientists and laboratory technicians began the process of transforming Masaki into a full Zoalord who is loyal only to Archanfel. Masaki was reborn as a Zoalord, Imakuram Mirabilis.

Zoalord Imakuram. This Zoaform bear resemblance to Masaki's Proto-Zoalord form.

Close up on Imakuram. The details are superb. The eyes were sculpted from semi-transparent material whereas all those gravity orbs were sculpted using a red transparent material.

The full capacity of Imakuram has not been fully described but it is safe to assume that he has most of his Proto-Zoalord attack. He can create vacuum in the air by just performing slash and slice notion with his hand.

He can also form a force field which protects him and at the same time slash any enemy who is foolish enough to go near him.

Much like the other Zoalords. Imakuram also comes with a set of battle armour.

The armour enhanced the presence of the figure.

Besides retaining his own move, Imakuram inherited Guyot's ability to manipulate gravity. He was seen throwing gravity bullet and even create an artificial black hole.

As a bonus, the figure comes with the human head of Masaki. The head sculpt comes with an accessories in the form of a shade.

This is the latest figure from the Bio Fighter Collection to date. I have no idea what is keeping Max Factory from producing more figures for this line but this may be a blessing in disguise. Despite the high price tag, this figure is still a must have for any Guyver fan. Grab it if you can still find it at a reasonable price!

Max Factory Bio Fighter Collection #11 Pluqstahl

Purgstall, in spite of being one of the twelve most powerful beings in the world, was considered timid, and disliked violence. Dr.Barcus has chosen him in Vienna around 215 years before the present. He was Austrian, which implies that he was a citizen of the Holy Roman Empire. His name was taken from an ancient fortified market town which is not north-east Austria, the Purgstall an der Erlauf.

This is Plugstahl in his Zoalord battleform. His colour scheme is associated to the sky which he draws his power from.

He is able to summon thunderstorm at will. Pluqstahl demonstrated his power when he was fighting with Guyver Gigantic.

Pluqstahl raise his arm and use it as a lightning rod to harness the power of the element. His combat abilities were vast, but most effective across a distance.

Once he accumulated a charge, he will be able to direct the blast towards his enemies.

Pluqstahl comes with a cape, which is exclusive to the Zoalord.

Pluqstahl with the cape on. Now he can really live up to the status of a Zoalord.

He emits an oppressing presence with the addition of the cape.

Pluqstahl is actually one of the Zoalord that I actually like and love but alas, he was betrayed and killed by the rogue Zoalords. All in all, this is another great figure from Max Factory. If you are a Guyver fan and you come across one of this on sale at a reasonable price. Grab it! I assure you, you would not regret adding this Zoalord to your collection.

Max Factory Bio Fighter Collection #10 Guyver Gigantic

Sho made contact with the Relic through his Control Metal when he venture into the alien spaceship. Afraid of losing the Relic along with the alien technology that came with it to a bunch of renegades, Balcus ordered the destruction of the Relic. The combine might of the Zoalords annihilated the Relic. In a bid to save his friends (who were taking shelter in the ship), Sho willed the Relic to teleport his friends to a safe location. In doing so, the control orbs of the ship fused with the Control Metal of the Guyver, then pulled Agito and the remains of Sho into it, sealing itself off from the destruction and relocating itself. Not long after the incident, Agito found a pupa with him and residing inside was the remains of Guyver I, tissues of the ship and the fused control orbs. Sho, desiring more power to fight against Archanfel, had subconsciously used the newly-fused control orbs to build an upgrade module for the Guyver unit. One year passed and Sho was finally resurrected as the Guyver Gigantic.

The anti-Zoalord module. The Gigantic.

Close up on the front of the figure. The detail is true to the manga/anime.

This figure comes with an extra head with the Vibration Globes exposed.

Enhanced High frequency Blades. They are now more flexible and can grow to amazing distances.

The Giga-Smasher is said to be a hundred times more devastating than the Mega-Smasher due to the presence of two extra Gravity Control Orbs.

The Gigantic powered up all its gravity orb and activate the barrier shield. With the chest spike extended forming the Gravity Ram, it accelerates towards it's enemy obliterating everything in it's path.

Size comparison of Guyver 1 and the Gigantic.

Despite being a 5-year old product, it used a very good articulation system which rival those which was produced in present day. This figure has become another gem among fans. You may still find it in the net but be prepared to pay a premium price for it just like I did. But believe me, you will never regret getting this figure.

Max Factory Bio Fighter Collection #9 Gigantic Dark

Makashima has always wanted the power offered by the Gigantic Unit ever since he first witness the overwhelming might of the Gigantic Guyver. His wish comes true when the Gigantic Unit was loaned to him by Sho after the later was subdue by Zoalord Murakami. The exhausted and wounded Guyver 3 entered the Chrysalis and emerged as the dark giant, Gigantic Dark.

The Gigantic Dark is really something to behold.

Close up on the front.

All the Guyver's existing weapon gets an upgrade through the Gigantic Unit. The Gigantic Dark possessed 3 High Frequency Blade on each wrist. It looks wicked!

The same goes to the Mega Smasher. It gets an upgrade and now its called the Giga Smasher which is a hundred fold more powerful than the Mega Smasher.

Gigantic Dark gains a new weapon in the form of the Gravity Ram. The Gigantic powered up all its gravity orb and activate the barrier shield. With the chest spike extended forming the Gravity Ram, it accelerates towards it's enemy with the intention of skewing and obliterating the victim.

At the point which this article was written, this has become one of those super rare figure. You may still find it in the net but be prepared to pay a premium price for it just like I did. But believe me, if you are a Guyver fan, you will never ever regret getting this figure.
