Revoltech Sci-Fi #008 Batman

If you were to ask me, who is the greatest DC super hero ever. I would say it is Batman without much of a second thought. This post is a tribute to Batman the Dark Knight.

Out-of-the-box content. This figure comes with your standard box, coin, 2 pairs of different hand, an articulated stand, Batarang, grappler, hoister and an extra head.

Batman without the cloak. Despite it costing just only fraction of the other more expensive figure you can get in the market, this figure spot some great detail.

The cloak comes in the form of 3-piece parts with 3 revol joints.

This Batman is depicted in the latest movie. The Dark Knight.

Close up of Batman. The design of the suit is a lot more complicated compare to previous version.

Side view of the figure.

This figure comes with an extra head of Bruce Wayne as accessories. In my opinion, that does not even resemble Bruce. Kaiyodo, you got to do better than that.

Close-up on Bruce Wayne. This bad sculpt is one of the main reason why a lot of people is shying away from this figure.

It is time for some action!

Batman leaps into action. This figure comes with a jointed stand which enable this figure to be posed such way.

Batman comes with his Batarang. Makes you really wonder if those really returns to his hand like a boomerang.

No that is not a gun but a grappler. Batman uses this to enable himself to scale tall building.

I am actually quite happy with this figure despite the issue which I have pointed out earlier. Now, I will be able to pose this along with my other multi billionaire super hero figure. =P

Revoltech Sci-Fi #024 Iron Man Mark VI

Despite numerous efforts, Tony fails to find a substitute for the palladium core which is killing him slowly. The situation looks bleak and this seems to be the end for Iron Man. Beaten and hopeless, an old acquaintance of Howard Stark, Nick Fury appears and tips him on of his father's work. This will be the key to unlocking the future. This is the last bid for him to safe his own life. With the aid of his computer J.A.R.V.I.S., Stark synthesizes a new element which he promptly used to make a new arc reactor and a new suit. The Iron Man Mk. 6.

Out-of-the box content of Revoltech Iron Man Mk.6.

Front view of the Mk.6. In my opinion, its a bit short.

Close up. Despite my complain earlier, the detail on this figure is actually quite impressive.

This release comes with the propulsion effect which double as a stand for Iron Man.

It is a pain in the ass trying to utilize the stand but once you get the hang of it, you will be able to pose Mk.6 in what ever action pose that your heart desire. Here is a knuckle sandwich!

This figure also comes with the repulsor(?) blast effect.

Taking off to the sky!

The iconic pose from the second movie.

The joint seems to be the biggest weakness for this figure. It is close to impossible posing this figure on the stand without any extra support before the joint buckled up and give way. Still, this is one of the best Iron Man figure you can own without having to pay through your nose.

So if you want to own Iron Man, grab this great figure or get the upcoming Mark 4. Keep an eye out for War Machine which is also around the corner.

Max Factory Bio Fighter Collection #12 Imakuram

Masaki's dummy Zoacrystal was cracked by Guyot during their confrontation in the Relic Point. This prove fatal for Masaki for the Zoacrystal was his life source as a Proto-Zoalord. In an unexpected turn of event, he was retrieved by Archanfel, the Supreme Leader of the Zoalord. Little do we know that Archanfel has plan for Masaki.

The traitorous Guyot was disposed off and this had left the counsel of Zoalords defunct. Archanfel foresee that this inconvenience will surely put his grand plan to a halt and sought to find a solution to the problem. With Guyot's Zoacrystal and a dying Proto-Zoalord, Archanfel did what seems to be the most logical thing to do. Bringing Masaki with him to an unknown location, Archanfel, Dr. Barcus and an unknown number of other scientists and laboratory technicians began the process of transforming Masaki into a full Zoalord who is loyal only to Archanfel. Masaki was reborn as a Zoalord, Imakuram Mirabilis.

Zoalord Imakuram. This Zoaform bear resemblance to Masaki's Proto-Zoalord form.

Close up on Imakuram. The details are superb. The eyes were sculpted from semi-transparent material whereas all those gravity orbs were sculpted using a red transparent material.

The full capacity of Imakuram has not been fully described but it is safe to assume that he has most of his Proto-Zoalord attack. He can create vacuum in the air by just performing slash and slice notion with his hand.

He can also form a force field which protects him and at the same time slash any enemy who is foolish enough to go near him.

Much like the other Zoalords. Imakuram also comes with a set of battle armour.

The armour enhanced the presence of the figure.

Besides retaining his own move, Imakuram inherited Guyot's ability to manipulate gravity. He was seen throwing gravity bullet and even create an artificial black hole.

As a bonus, the figure comes with the human head of Masaki. The head sculpt comes with an accessories in the form of a shade.

This is the latest figure from the Bio Fighter Collection to date. I have no idea what is keeping Max Factory from producing more figures for this line but this may be a blessing in disguise. Despite the high price tag, this figure is still a must have for any Guyver fan. Grab it if you can still find it at a reasonable price!

Saint Seiya Myth Cloth - Pegasus Seiya V3

Moeru Cosmo yo!!!

Thats "Burn my Cosmo!!!" for those of you who does not speak Japanese.

I have been a fan of Saint Seiya since it's premier more than 10 years ago. Every fans around the world rejoice when Bandai announced a line of product in the form of Saint Seiya Myth Cloth. Everyone rejoice except me, who does not have the necessary financial capability to ever own one of these figure. Fast forward to recent years, when I finally secure a job that let me grovel in this addiction of mine. I have slowly but surely started to collect all those figures which I have missed over the years. Now I am compelled to write an entry about it since I am almost on the verge of completing my list of wanted figure from this great series.

Seiya, the titular character of the series has been through a lot of event before the Hades saga. Once again, the Pegasus Cloth has been damaged almost beyond repair during the saints' struggle in the Poseidon saga. Despite that, Seiya still donned the cloth when he answered the call of his cosmo to do battle in the sanctuary which was invaded by the specters of Hades.

Right before the ending of the sanctuary arc, Athena sacrificed herself to awaken her eighth sense and in doing so, spilling her own blood. Aries Shion used her blood to awaken her cloth and used the same blood to repair the Bronze Saint's cloths.

The Pegasus V3 Cloth is in a form of a galloping pegasus. It is simple but yet elegant.

Seiya dons his Pegasus Cloth.

The Pegasus cloth sprout wings which enable Seiya to reach the field of Elysium.

"I must deliver this to Saori san!!!"

The Myth Cloth Appendix is a sub line product. The figures come in the form of a bust which can you used to enhance the figure from the main line. This Appendix is for Seiya which comes with a better hair sculpt and 2 new head which feature a grinning face and a screaming face.

"Step aside! I must go to Saori san!!!"

"Burn my Cosmo!!!"

"Pegasus Ryu Sei Ken!!!"

To be continued???
