VF-25G Super Messiah Michael Version

Here is another Macross Frontier entry for Super Messiah Michael version in battroid mode.

A few front shot of the Vf25g. The head design is unique and somewhat resemble a mono-eye.

Close up on the groin. Extreme care must be taken when you try to pose this kit or else you will end up with numerous scratched-decal like me. :\

This kit comes with tons of decal so a bulk of my time was used to apply the decal. There are still room for improvement with my decaling skill.

One of the selling point for the Super Messiah is the big booster. It looks more aerodynamic compare to the armored booster.

Michael in the cockpit. He was an interesting character but too bad, he was killed halfway through the anime.

I love the sexy legs. :P

Another selling point for this kit is the sniper rifle. Its exclusive used by Michael since he was one of the best sniper in SMS.

The sniper rifle needs to be deployed before it can be used.

I am too lazy to summarize all those information regarding Vf25g and it's pilot. You should go to wikipedia if you would like to read more regarding the subject.

Until then, see you all later!

Revoltech #70 Arc Gurren Lagann

The human annihilation programme has been activated and the moon was set to collide with earth in just a matter of days.

In order to save live on earth from total destruction, the Arc Gurren was utilized to evacuate Kamina City's civilian and thousands of animal to space. The effort proves to be futile because the anti-spiral was set to destroy all traces of spiral power on earth. They send the Mugan to intercept the Arc and was able to force the Arc into a tight position.

Simon and Viral in the Gurren Lagann, arrive just in time to save the day. In a desperate move to save the Arc from certain doom. The Gurren Lagann was merged with the Arc Gurren transforming the later into Arc Gurren Lagann.

Kaiyodo is generous with the second Yamaguchi release. It comes with 2 revoltech joints and 1 joint connector for the standard stand. There is a storage box, a pair of open palms, a pair of spiral energy effect and a point chip.

The Arc Gurren Lagann does not have a flat sole to stand on so the sculptor comes out with a brilliant idea to overcome this by giving the Arc Gurren Lagann high heels!

What are we waiting for? Time for some action!!!

Garrrghhh!!!

Come on Mugan! I will take you on like a real man!

Take this!!!

Space-time Shattering...

Burst Spinning Punch!!!

Kaiyodo has improved a lot on their quality control. The paintjob is top-notch compare to the first series of Yamaguchi TTGL release. This could be a reason why this figure is basically rare in the market now a day. This reason alone makes this release a must have for TTGL fans out there. :D

Ashigaru Tamama Robo

Gunsou-san!!! You should not hog the spot light all by yourself! How am I going to get the affection from you if I do not win the hearts of the Pekoponians first. So please step aside and let my "moeness" do the job!

Hehe. This time I am playing the role of a Ashigaru (foot soldier) in the shogun period. But mind you! I am not a helpless cannon fodder!

Since Gunsou-san refuse to let me touch his ride so i have Kururu along with that slave scientist build me an exact copy. Now I can follow Gunsou-san everywhere he goes! Ehe!

I can dock my bike to the Ashigaru robot and gain control of it. BIKE ON!!!

Side view.

Rear view.

Salute! All hail the great Keron Empire!!!

You definitely do not want me to stick you with this. By the way, where is that pesky woman... Ano onna!!!

This robo has an alternative form as kraken. Now I can go cruise the sea with Gunsou-san! Love love desu!!!

Different view for the alternative form.

Close up on the interior of the robo.

Eh? Where did Gunsou-san go? I want to impress him with this awesome mecha of mine! Ehe!

Taiwan Trip Part 5

Here is the last entry for my Taiwan trip.

Day 6 (30th March 2010)

Last day of my stay in Taiwan. I have decided to go out alone for some adventure. Initially, I thought I will rely on taxis but Brother Wong told me that it is easy and cheaper to get by using the bus. So I jump onto the first bus that comes my way and off I go into the unknown. I managed to plan out my trip using a map that was loaned from Julius. Thanks a lot buddy if you read this! :P
My first destination is the natural science museum. I was here just a day ago so I was able to track it down rather easily and did not manage to get myself lost. There was a lot of interesting exhibit presented in the museum. I was quite fond of their dinosaur exhibit. They have a life size T-Rex along with some smaller dinosaurs. They even have a section on Chinese cultures but unfortunately for me, all their information was presented in Chinese. There was another section on the human life. All the stages of human life were presented, from conception to birth until we return to dust. It was packed with so much information that it is very difficult to round the museum in just one day. How I wish I have more timed to there.
I left the museum sometime around noon and went straight to hunt the hobby shop. It was not that difficult to find because it is just around the corner of the museum. I managed to grab myself a few Saint Seiya Myth Cloths and a revoltech figure. They are not as cheap as I expect but it is definitely cheaper compare to the retail price in Malaysia.
I say this is the best trip for me yet. My only regret is that I did not bring my camera along on this trip to capture all those interesting moment. Guess there can always be another next time.
