Revoltech Sci-Fi #022 Predator

The Predator, is a humanoid intergalactic alien race which live by a tribal culture. First introduced in 1987 as the main antagonist of the film Predator, the Predator later spawned several sequels and spin-off. While a definitive name for the species is not given in the films, the names yautja and Hish have been alternatively used in the other media.

Out-of-box content of the figure. It does not come with a lot of accessories.

Front view of the Predator. Or to be more precise, the Classic Predator from the first movie.

The mandibles are one of the most prominent feature on a Predator's face. The Predator was also referred by other characters by the name of "Crabface".

The hair-like appendages are similar to braids.

This figure comes with a mask which you can use to hide his ugly mug.

Enough talk! Time to go hunting!

Have to make sure that all the equipments are working fine including this control module here.

Shoulder cannon - check. Cloaking field - check. Infra red sensor - check.

Self destruct protocol - check. Okay! We are ready to go!

The wrist blade is the standard issue for any Predator.

The Predator view human as a worthy adversary and hunt them for sport. The skull is usually harvested as trophy. Side note, the skull is from the Skeleton Army.

In the expanded universe. The Predator hunt the Xenomorph aka Alien as a rite of passage for young Predator.

The Predator has to kill an Alien and later mix his own blood with the corrosive blood of the Alien to mark himself as a Blooded.

Nothing excites the Predator more than the joy of a hunt!

All in all, this is a great figure despite some of the flaws in it. I will definitely follow up with this series if Kaiyodo ever decides to release a figure for each and every Predators out there.
